Hi there! I'm originally from Tampa, Florida, and earned both my B.A. in Finance (1995) and M.A. in Education (1999) from the University of South Florida. I started my teaching career in Central Florida at the University of Central Florida and Seminole State College.
In 2005, I moved to Bend, Oregon, and joined Central Oregon Community College. I've now been teaching in the Computer and Information Systems department at COCC for 20 years, focusing on web development, WordPress, and computing fundamentals.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy road trips and hiking with my wife, especially in Idaho and Utah. I also love studying and playing chess—it's a perfect mix of logic and creativity, much like web design itself. 1
