CIS195 Web Dev One

introduction

Welcome! This site is a collection of my work for the CIS195: Web Development I course at COCC. Here you will find links to all my participation activities, labs, and assignments. My approach to learning is hands-on: I take the HTML and CSS techniques I learn from readings and videos and immediately put them into practice. As you explore, you'll notice that each project looks a little different. That's because I'm challenging myself to experiment with a new style for every webpage I build. Thanks for visiting!

I'm originally from Tampa, Florida, but I've been proud to call Bend my home since I began working at Central Oregon Community College (COCC) in 2005. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, hiking, playing chess, and taking road trips with my wife. 1

assignments

I won't be completing all assignments at the same level as you will, but I'm here to help. If you get stuck or aren't sure where to start, let me know—those are exactly the kinds of challenges I want to demonstrate how to tackle. 2
